Originally native to Europe, sweet William catchfly has quickly become popular in the United States because of its bold, beautiful color and its ability to adapt to moderate climates. It can grow anywhere from 12 to 36 inches, producing bright pink and magenta-colored flowers that are extremely eye-catching in any garden bed or wildflower meadow. This perennial can bloom from spring through the fall season, often favoring the mid to late summer. Grows well in full sun to partial shade with moderate water requirements.
