Blue-eyed grass is a delicate species of flowering plant native to the western United States. It is a perennial herb named after its small, blue, iris-like flowers. It is known for its ability to easily establish and to reseed. In California, blue-eyed grass typically blooms from January to July, prefers moisture and good drainage, and can tolerate summer dryness.
