Roundhead Lespedeza

Lespedeza capitata, commonly known as roundhead lespedeza or roundhead bush clover, belongs to the bean family and is predominantly found in the eastern half of the United States. This intermediate-height legume plays a crucial role as a food source for various wildlife species. Characterized by its white, rough, clover-like heads, roundhead lespedeza blooms from June through August.
