Thriving in full sun, this warm-season grass can reach heights of 4 to 5 feet when mature, boasting broad green leaves. Native to wetland habitats, rice cut grass serves as an essential component of these ecosystems, providing valuable wildlife feed and habitat. While it offers numerous ecological benefits, rice cut grass is notably slow to establish, requiring patience and careful management during the initial growth phase.
