Coastal Goldenbush is native to central and southern California and Baja. It’s also known as Menzies’ goldenbush, coastal goldenbush is a perennial shrub native to the southern California coast. Its small yellow flowers grow atop long, woody stems covered in small green leaves. Commonly used in restoration projects and for pollinator benefits. This shrub can grow up to 3 feet tall and thrives in low-moisture areas. Very easy to grow and can thrive in full sunlight to partial shade.
Coastal Goldenbush is a pollinator host plant for the white-lined sphinx, sunflower moth, orange tortrix moth, and snakeweed borer.
