Our South-Atlantic Transitional Erosion Control Mix has been designed to provide excellent erosion control and soil stabilization throughout the transitional zone of the eastern United States, an area that experiences both the hot, humid climate of the South and the cooler temperatures further north. This mix contains grasses and legumes that establish very quickly for the fastest results possible while at the same time knitting together the soil to prevent future erosion. This mix can also be used for livestock and wildlife forage. This mix produces a stand that will contain approximately:
25% Slender Wheatgrass
25% Annual Ryegrass
20% Perennial Ryegrass
15% White Clover
15% Hairy Vetch
In an effort to help our customers visualize the finished product, note that the percentages listed above are what you can expect the stand to contain once established. For the contents of this seed mix by weight, please contact us to request a digital copy of the seed tag.
