I am a return customer, and this is the only product I consider for reseeding my grazing pastures.
As describe, very hardy, good grazing seed mix!
The mix I got didn't match what was advertised at all! I intentionally choose this seed mix because it advertised lower sugar grass seed percentages for my laminitic / founder-prone horse. What I got was: Rye = 42.79%, alfalfa = 23.69% , orchard = 18.72%, 7.57% = Timothy, and kentucky bluegrass = 5.74%.... a founder nightmare. I wanted this bag for the higher Timothy and kentucky bluegrass percentage and I got very little of that and basically all cheap Rye grass.
Employee was quite helpful in choosing just the right seed for our environment.
Having great success year after year
My horse boarding business is located in Maine, this seed turned bare dirt into a lovely pasture within just a few months. All I did was drag the area to loosen the dirt, then spread the seed with a seed spreader. It did very well for the remainder of the summer, made it through a cold winter, and is growing strong this spring. Returning to purchase more for a different paddock.
We love this seed. We have been using it for the last 5 years to reseed our horse pastures, and we have lush, green grass all year that our horses love. Highly recommend it.
High quality. High price. You decide on value.
I purchased this mix to cover an area that needed grass in my pasture. It was just dirt, from the previous season. Having not done much to prep the soil I was doubtful much, if anything, would come up. So far everything has sprouted and has continued to grow very well. I will certainly be coming back if ever in need of more seed.
We have never had trouble with the seed growing. We have used this product for several years for our horse pasture.
