Native to southwestern Asia and the eastern Mediterranean, strawberry clover is a short, creeping perennial that is very valuable for erosion control, food plots, and for its use as a green-manure cover crop. It tolerates wet saline and alkaline soils and is able to withstand flooding and poorly drained sites. This rapid-growing strawberry clover establishes easily and is heat tolerant. Its lovely pink and red flowers attract bees and other pollinators.
