Scientific Name: Lupinus densiflorus
Native to California, golden lupine is a brilliant wildflower bound to stand out in any garden bed or wildflower meadow. Growing up to 36 inches tall, golden lupine is easy to grow and pairs aesthetically well with most types of blue lupine. It can be classified by its long, stiff stems that grow small clusters of yellow bean-shaped flowers. It is an annual wildflower that will reseed itself if left to grow out year after year. Can thrive in full sun to partial shade with moderate water requirements. Aside from its obvious beauty, golden lupine is also beneficial in the way that it improves soil with its nitrogen-fixing abilities. Also attracts honeybees and butterflies.
Each wildflower seed packet contains approximately 100 seeds.
