For best results, use about ½ pound of sheep fescue per 2,000 square feet (or per 1 lb. of wildflower seed). You can adjust this amount depending on how much grass coverage you prefer.

Because most of the varieties included in this mix are short-growing bunchgrasses, they won’t hide the beauty of the wildflowers. Our California Habitat Mix is a great complement to this wildflower mix. We recommend buying about a half pound of our California Habitat Mix for every 2000 ft² (1 lb.) of wildflower mix. This amount may be increased or decreased depending on your desired ratio of wildflowers to grass.
