From the contoured base for fitting around your hip, the adjustable shoulder strap and a long crank handle, the 2750 is designed with comfortable operation in mind. The Exclusive Rocking Agitator provides smooth, even material feeding to the distribution plate. Our high speed direct drive gear box allows the operator to adjust the spread width between 8’/215cm-12’/457cm by simply changing the crank rate. Glomus intraradices has been used successfully throughout a broad range of environments from boreal sites in northern Canada to tropical sites in South America. How Does it Work?

Mycorrhizal fungi, or mycorrhiza, are specialized fungi that form symbiotic relationships with plants. Their very name describes the role these fungi play. “Myco” means fungus while “rhiza” means root. This “fungus root” makes its home in and on the roots of 90% of all plant species. Mycorrhiza acts as extensions of the plant’s root system, making roots more efficient at absorbing water and nutrients. Just as the lining of our small intestine is covered with millions of microscopic finger-like villus, mycorrhiza form hyphae which line plant roots, increasing the surface area of the root up to 1,000 times. Not only do mycorrhizal fungi boost the plant’s vigor by increasing the surface area of its roots, mycorrhiza also produces enzymes that dissolve nutrients that would otherwise remain inaccessible in the soil. In return, the plant provides the fungi with life-sustaining carbohydrates. This mutually beneficial relationship is a win-win for both the plant and the fungi.

Broadcasting: 1-2 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft. or 60 lbs. per acre.

Nursery Medium: Evenly blend at 5 lbs. per yd³.

M-Binder tackifier is a botanical glue used in hydroseeding, to stabilize soils and for dust control. Derived from the seed of the plantego plant (Plantago insularis), M-Binder is 100% organic, non-toxic and biodegradable. Use anywhere you need to “tack” down seed, straw or mulch, or to control dust and erosion. Works great for revegetation and restoration projects, fire rehabilitation, landscaping and beautification.

Application

M-Binder may be applied as a dry powder or as wet slurry to dry or wet surfaces. It may even be applied during rain. It does not require set-up or drying time because when it is wet it is a heavy muciloid material and when dry it is a firm but rewettable membrane.

Rice hulls are the hard outer covering, or husk, of the rice kernel. They are formed of silica and lignin, and are indigestible to humans. However, they have many uses within the agricultural industry. When mixed with seed, rice hulls help:

Ensure a more uniform coverage when seeding a mixture of different sized seeds.

Slow the rate of seed being applied by a seed drill.

Prevent bridging of fluffy seeds in the drill.

Rice hulls weigh nine pounds per bushel. Use standard calibration techniques for determining the settings of your seeding equipment. There are many other uses for rice hulls besides their application during seeding. Here are just a few:

Rice hulls make an excellent substrate for gardening, especially in hydroponic systems.

Rice hulls can be used for animal bedding or litter in poultry and other animal operations.

Rice hulls absorb liquid and can provide an anti-skid surface.

Suståne fertilizers are the new generation in environmentally friendly plant nutrition with minimal impact on the non-target environment. Suståne 18-1-8+Fe (iron) is an organic based nitrogen fertilizer blend, ideal for top-dressing lawns, fairways and sports fields. Derived from aerobically composted turkey litter, hydrolyzed feathermeal, ammonium sulfate, iron sulfate, methylene urea, sulfate of potash and sulfur coated urea.
