Hi, just want you to know how happy I am with the Blue Ribbon Blend. I managed to finish prepping the area late last fall and got the seed down with what I thought might be too little time left before it became too cold. Luckily we were blessed with an extra good 3 weeks of perfect conditions. The seed germinated very quickly and I was actually able to mow it one time before winter. It was used to cover a 15-20 degree slope over more than a 1/4 acre of 40 yards of new fill and top soil to and the roots really took hold. I also over seeded and seeded filled low spots which was another 3/4 acre. it’s waking up and I can’t wait to see it in a month or so. More expensive than big-box/major names but worth every! penny. You get what you pay for. And it is a beautiful strain.

Your seed is great, but why such a high price increase? It’s hard to justify paying $200 for a bag of seed.

At least I can say that for my backyard which looked so bad I almost rocked it over like I did my front yard area, looks GREAT now, thanks to this grass seed. The front looks good, but the backyard looks fabulous! This wonderful grass seed grows so fast, lush and green, and is so sturdy! I wish I’d known about it sooner!

I use rice hulls for the bedding in my duck coop and it works great. They love digging around in it and it absorbs the odors. I highly recommend it.

Milkweeds can be planted in different seasons depending on the seeds. Packaging doesn’t say.

Purchased in Spring of 2020. Germination was quick and now we have a small pasture of thick clovers, alfalfa, pea and flax. Chickens love it as well! Very pleased with this product.

This grass seed has been relatively easy to grow in the East SF Bay area. I love that you don’t need to cut this grass, as it looks best when it grows long and folds over. This is the first year we have been growing a lawn so it has required more water than expected, but we didn’t seed the lawn early enough in the spring. The established grass has needed water about 2-3 times a week, which will taper off as temperatures decrease through the fall and as the grass matures.

I had an issue with my order so I contacted customer service. Nature’s Seed customer service was fast, friendly, and ensured there were no issues with my order! My order came quickly and I was super excited that within a few days of planting the seeds, I started seeing sprouts! I am super pleased with the white dutch clover and excited about the other seeds I have also purchased for the spring!
